There may be times when you need to reinstall your Minecraft server to fix issues or start fresh. This guide will walk you through the process.
Warning: Reinstalling your server will permanently delete all existing data on the server, including worlds, plugins, configurations, and player data.
Before proceeding with a reinstall, we strongly recommend:
- Create your own backup of important data alongside our backups
- Verify that your backups are up to date
- Download any custom configurations or worlds you wish to preserve
Reinstallation Process
- Log in to the Panel
- Select your server from the dashboard
- Navigate to the "Settings" option under the "General" tab
- Scroll to the bottom of the page
- Click the "Reinstall Server" button
- A confirmation pop-up will appear asking you to confirm the reinstallation
- Confirm that you understand all data will be wiped
- Click "Confirm" to proceed with the reinstallation
After Reinstallation
Once the reinstallation is complete:
- Your server will be restored to default settings
- You will need to reconfigure any custom settings
- You will need to reinstall any plugins or mods
- You will need to restore your world from a backup if desired
